What is 3 Days Startup?
Startup Weekend is a weekend-long, 54 hour event where a bunch of technologists and web warriors get together with the goal of creating a community and company.
What type of Company is created over the event?
Your guess is as good at ours, as this is the first time an event of its kind is being held in Israel. This means that essentially, we are only limited by our imagination! Whatever the chosen idea, each participating founder will get shares of the created company. As a founder, you can earn 2-7 shares of stock in a simple equation. You can earn 1 share Thursday Night, 2 shares Friday and 2 shares Saturday. You need to earn 2 shares to be awarded any shares, and if you (as you should plan) attend the full 3 days of the event, earn an extra 2 shares, totaling 7. The total shares earned will equal the 100% of the LLC.
What is in it for me?
Well, other than the obvious reward of seeing a team vision brought to life in such a limited amount of time, you will get founders' stock, get a chance to network and interact with other like-minded folks in the field, and above all, meet new people and have a terrific time!
