3 Days Startup - Israel 2008 - Building a Vision in a Weekend

3 Days Startup is an idea, an experiment, a chance gather the local tech community and create a company over one single weekend, brimming with creativity and driven by entrepreneurial spirit. With enough talent within the Israeli hi-tech community to fuel hundreds of successful initiatives, we are excited to see how this idea will evolve - an up-and-running startup, from the very first hint of a brilliant idea to its execution by a dedicated team of entrepreneurs, all within the course of one action-packed weekend! 3 Days Startup's objective is to recruit a highly motivated group of entrepreneurs from different fields of expertise in order to bring to life a project and company in a weekend. The participating founders vote on an idea as a team, and earn an equal share of tock in the developed business. Attendees are responsible for bringing the desire and passion to the project and walk out of the room with a brand new business - the sky is the limit. Sound intense? It is! The idea was inspired by similar initiatives which have had a great deal of success overseas - so far, like-minded 3 Days Startup have taken place in cities across the States and in Europe. Now, we have taken it upon ourselves to bring this fascinating little experiment to our region of the world, and hope you will join us on our mission.
